Qatar Open Amateur Golf Championship 2017 Results

WAGR – Qatar Open Amateur Golf Championship 2017 – 31st Edition

The Qatar Golf Association congratulated the winners and honored the players of the 31st edition of the WAGR Qatar Open Amateur Golf Championship 2017.

The Qatar Golf Association held a ceremony in the honor of the winners and players of this year’s WAGR Qatar Open Amateur Golf Championship. It is the 31st edition of the tournament and was held on between Thursday, January 5, and Saturday, January 7.

The title went to the Dutch Pierre Verlaar Jr., who was crowned champion at the honoring event and given the trophy. The win qualified Verlaar to play at the Commercial Bank Qatar Maters 2017.

The Qatari player Saleh Al Kaabi finished second in the tournament, and the third-place spot went to the Swede Christofer Rahm.

The Qatar Golf Association Committee and Board Members, headed by the QGA President Mr. Hassan Nasser Al Naimi, crowned the top 10 players at the closing ceremony on the 7th at the Doha Golf Club.
