Are You Ready For NES Classic Edition?

NES Classic Edition

It’s time to get excited, for the NES Classic Edition is coming out this Friday.

Yes, we believe that the 90s was the best era as well, and the best from the 90s is coming back. This upcoming Friday, November 11, Nintendo will be releasing NES Classic Edition, a miniature version of their iconic 8-bit console originally released in 1983.

NES stands for Nintendo Entertainment System, the name of the Nintendo console that changed videogaming forever. It was on that console that people were introduced to the Mario brothers, The Adventures of Zelda and Donkey Kong. But how smart would it be to just release the exact same console over 30 years later? (it’s not). That is why the NES mini will come with HDMI display output, a replica controller that also connects to the Wii remote, and you will not need the square cassettes to run your games. We know it is sad, but the technology of today allows developers to fit all games created in the 80s on one small flash drive.

The console will be released just in time for the holidays, as it would make a great Christmas gift to basically anyone born between the 80s and 90s. It will be released for just under $60, and can be ordered online according to the Nintendo website.

It comes with 30 classic original games pre-installed and built in.

They are:

Balloon Fight
Bubble Bobble
Castlevania
Castlevania II: Simon’s Quest

Donkey Kong Jr.
