Broccoli Beef Stew
1 Kilogram sirloin steak or cooking beef chunks
1 cup beef broth
1/2 cup low-sodium soy sauce
1/4 cup brown sugar
1 Tablespoons sesame oil
5 Cloves minced garlic
4 Tablespoons cornstarch
4 Tablespoons water
1 Big broccoli head
Cut up the beef into even chunks or strips. In a slow cooker whisk up the beef broth, with brown sugar, sesame oil, garlic, soy sauce and some salt. Add the beef, cover and let cook on low heat for about 4 hours.
Mix the cornstarch with the water and mix it into the pot well. Add the broccoli bits, cook for half an hour and you have a thicker consistency.
Serve hot over white rice, add some Sriracha sauce if prefer spicier dishes.
