Mark Your Calendars For the 9th Heya Arabian Fashion Exhibition

The date has been set. The highly anticipated ninth Heya Arabian Fashion Exhibition will be held from June 2 to June 6, at Doha Exhibition and Convention Center (DECC).

The exhibit will focus and feature the newest trends and designs of abayas, kaftans, jalabiyas, veils, gowns, and accessories, including belts, bags and shoes. Call it a mix of modernity and tradition if you will.

Flocking people from all over the region, the daily fashion shows have become an attraction for fashion enthusiasts, designers, and both private and commercial customers. Many of whom have enjoyed and benefited from workshops and fashion forums led by experts, over the course of five days.

The annual exhibition has become a hub for Arab fashionistas, designers and retailers. Throughout its 9 years it has come to serve as a trendsetter, and launchpad for designers.

According to the Global Islamic Economy Report 2015, Islamic fashion markets are expected to reach the worth of $327 billion by the year 2020, which if true, will serve as a major growth factor to the country’s MICE sector.

The Heya Arabian Fashion Exhibition, Qatar’s most popular showcase of abayas and traditional Arabic attire, will be taking place from June 2, until June 6, 2016. It is organised by Qatar’s Tourism Authority, in partnership with Design Creationz, and will welcome visitors daily from 10 am to 10 pm.
