Simple Facial Mask Recipes

look years younger and rejuvenate your facial skin with these simple facial mask recipes.

Keeping your skin soft and clear is really hard, especially with all the unavoidable dust, dirt and sweat that damages it every day. Women all over the world spend thousands of dollars annually on skincare products, injections and even resort to surgery to keep their skin soft, smooth and clear.

Most times, people are attracted to brand products, and rely on advertisements to choose what they believe is best for them. We beg to differ. Below we have gathered a few recipes for homemade facial masks and toners.

The Banana Mask: Probably the easiest mask to make, and it even tastes great. Put one banana, half a cup of yogurt and a spoon of honey into a blender and give it a good mix. Spread the paste on your face and neck, and leave it on for 15-20 minutes. Enjoy the leftovers meanwhile.

Cider Toner: Mix half a cup of apple cider in a cup of water. Dip a cotton ball in the mixture and gently wipe it on your face. The mix will tighten and cleanse your skin. This method dates back to ancient Greece.

Berry Mask: Mix half a cup of sugar with two teaspoons of açai powder and 10 fresh, whole berries like blueberries, raspberries, blackberries, or a few of either, with one tablespoon of olive oil. Wrinkle fighting antioxidants will tighten both your skin and pores. Leave on for 5 minutes, then rinse with warm water.

The Greek Adonis: This moisturizing mask is great for men, as it soothes their facial skin from damage and irritations resulting from shaving. Peal and chop half a cucumber and mix it with one tablespoon of full-fat Greek yogurt. Spread it evenly across the face and leave it on for 10-15 minutes.
