Upcoming Marvel Blockbusters

Who of us didn’t wish for superpowers and the ability to save the world from super threats? We can all, in the blink of an eye, name our favorite childhood superhero and remember what made that hero our favored savior. Unfortunately most of us outgrew comic books and cartoons, but to our luck cinema technology has brought all our loved heroes and heroines back to life.

Pioneers in bringing us action packed adventures on the path to righteousness and the salvation of humanity, Marvel comics and Stan Lee continue to bring us the Marvel universe to the big screen. With bigger fights and badder villains, they bring you detailed worlds far beyond our wildest imagination.

Marvel and Lee have been busy creating blockbusters for the past few years, but they have been busier preparing for upcoming box office superheroes. We have set together a list of upcoming Marvel movies you will want to keep an eye out for.

2016: This year has already seen its share of Marvel movies with Captain America: Civil War and Deadpool being released already, but the year isn’t over yet. To come, Marvel is releasing the follow-up to X-Men: Days of Future Past, named X-Men: Apocalypse, later on this May. In October we can anticipate the X-Men spinoff, Gambit, focusing on the life story of the mysterious X-Men character, and Dr. Strange, starring Benedict Cumberbatch later on in November.

2017: Is a year of sequels. Marvel will continue the story of Guardians of the Galaxy with Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2, said to feature Kurt Russell. Thor will return with Thor: Ragnarok, though it is said that Natalie Portman won’t be in it.  Marvel will also be rebooting the Spider-Man franchise in 2017 with Spider-Man: Homecoming, scheduled for release in July.

2018: Will be a thrilling year for comic book fans. The year will witness the first Black Panther movie, starring  Chadwick Boseman, and is set to be released in February. The Avengers will continue with a new saga, Avengers: Infinity War – Part 1, which will be on screens by May.  Ant-Man will make his second silver screen appearance, this time against the Wasp, in July.
