3D printing is truly taking technology and specifically industrial design in a completely new direction. The ability for individuals to own a miniature factory has begun becoming within our reach. 3D printing works by depositing several dimensions of a certain shape or model, and forming this item, layer by layer until the final product is created.
One of the most notable items currently manufactured with 3D printing is shoes. Shoes can really be molded as per each individual’s feet, and form. This has rendered manufacturing much simpler and easier, and it has brought proper production a long way. Many shoe manufacturers have begun considering this state of the art technology, and creating new products using 3D printing. So today we thought to tell you a bit more about the shoe brands, with 3D printed products.
New Balance for instance has recently released a running shoe with a 3D printed midsole. Flexibitly, strength, and cushioning, are some aspects which have been enhanced with the use of 3D printing technology.
Adidas for instance have come up with a dynamic approach for the 3D printed shoe. They want to imagine a client, who walks into an Adidas store, tries a pair of shoes on a treadmill, and then are able to walk out of the store with a custom made, freshly printed pair of shoes.
