The Two Most Bizarre Houses In Japan

Japan is known to be the city of technology, of invention, of innovation, and good design, so it comes as no surprise for us, that two of the strangest homes in the world are found in Japan. Japan holds two of the world’s most amazing homes and they both come with quite a twist.

The house is a transparent house designed by Sou Fujimoto Architects, the transparent house was inspired by the manner at which our ancestors used to live… on trees. This house is a 914 square foot house. While the estate offers plenty of natural light, it leaves no room for privacy, however we could not stop but take a look at this uncommon, and rather interesting concept of a house.

“The white steel-frame structure itself shares no resemblance to a tree. Yet the life lived and the moments experienced in this space is a contemporary adaptation of the richness once experienced by the ancient predecessors from the time when they inhabited trees,” says Sou Fujimoto.

The second interesting Japanese conceptual house on our list is the slide house. We really all have an inner child inside us somewhere, however not many of us feel at ease letting our inner child out in public, hence we leave it to the walls of our homes to seclude us from what we most enjoy doing, so today we are bringing you a concept home, that is inspired and built for the purpose of letting our inner child out, the house is the slide house, and it is designed by LEVEL architects. This house is really an ideal children’s home.
