55 Artists Have Come Together To Paint Qatar’s Murals In Doha

Katara is Doha’s prime center for the arts. So it was no surprise to us, when the culture gurus, decided to come up with a state of the art concept, aiming at emphasizing, and showing the beauty of art at the Katara Cultural Village.

Katara brought together 55 artists from all over the world, Qatari nationals, Arabs, and Europeans. The aim of bringing together these individuals is for the purpose of painting the murals of Katara with diverse art. Artists came from 20 different nationalities.

These artists were asked to freely execute their work, because the cultural village of Katara aims at making art a more universal language for everyone. In addition to bridging cultures together, and to documents the historic landmarks of Katara. Of the participating artists, are Hasan Al Mulah, Sabah Al Arbele, and Bachir Ansari.

The Katara Cultural Village is absolutely brilliant, and an utterly valuable asset for the art scene in Doha, this initiative is something we wish to see more of. Especially that art is one of the most important things which sustain a human culture.
