Amsterdam is home to a cosmopolitan people, and hence all one can expect from food is that it would be equally exotic, variant, and colorful. So we took some time, lots of time actually. To recall, research, and select the restaurants we will be visiting within the coming week. We came up with the below list, this list from where i see it is of the places i would like to visit this time, and why, some of the locales were recommended by locals and others were selected based on reviews, locations, and food!
So basically the list is as such:

Restaurant Day is such a unique event in Amsterdam, taking place in various locations of the city, in the capital as well as in areas such as Utecht and many others. The concept behind this day, is that any home can become a restaurant. People will be opening up their houses, as restaurants, and they will be serving food to individuals who wish to visit them and try their home made cooking! I am super looking forward to this event happening on the 21st of November. We will be covering the event from different individual’s homes, from different places in Holland.

Bar Bukowski:
As many of our friends know, Charles Bukowski is our favorite writer of all time. And it was a shame that we were not able to visit this place during our first visit. The concept behind this bar is simple people come to enjoy a drink while engaging in activities such as Jazz night, poetry readings, live performances, and many more. This restaurant does not only fit in the scope of a great place to hang out and have fun, we have read some really amazing reviews about the cuisine at Bar Bukowski. One of the many places we have been hearing praise about is the Volkshotel, however since we have selected a different destination for our hotel stay which we hope to be equally as interesting. We have decided to try Canvas a beautiful concept at the very trendy, and urban Volkshotel. The hotel has a very unique concept, and is keen on the eye.
